Quickstart#

Introduction#

The Melissa Alert Service is a cloud based DBMS.

In addition to the functionality delivered by other cloud-based DBMSs, the Melissa Alert Service can provide on-demand or scheduled processing using the same tools that Melissa offers on many other platforms.

Features Include:

  • Cloud-based data storage

  • Flexible user-defined schemas

  • Unlimited tables per user

  • Web-based WDP portal application

  • User-Schedule Jobs

  • User notification of data changes

  • Transaction tracking

  • User data operations (select, match, update, insert, and delete) can be done by web interface or FTP
